Records and Transcripts

Order Your Transcripts and More

Current and former students can order your transcript through Parchment, our secure, online ordering service. Both digital or mailed transcripts are available. Send the transcript directly to the recipient in order for it to be considered official.

$10 per transcript, valid major credit card required.

Do you have a hold on your record? Please contact the office that assigned the hold or contact the Enrollment Center ([email protected]) for more information.

Order Your Oakton Transcript

Get your coursework from past, accredited universities applied towards an Oakton credential. To do so you will need to have your transcript(s) evaluated. Complete and submit a Request for Evaluation of Credits form (PDF) (311 KB) and send all official transcripts to the Enrollment Center ([email protected]).

Evaluation takes 2-4 weeks, once form and official transcript are received. You will receive an email notification to your Oakton email when completed.

Student Records - Confidentiality

Students and former students have certain rights regarding your college records. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of student education records; this means that records (such as transcripts and grades) are limited to the student. A student may authorize others to have access to their records with the FERPA Authorization Release Form (login required).

To have all of the "Directory Information" withheld, the student must give written notice, in person, or if by mail, by certified mail return receipt requested and addressed to the Enrollment Center. This notice can be made or rescinded at any time.

If you believe there is an inaccuracy in your record, you can apply to challenge the record in Registrar Services. This does not include grades; please speak directly with the faculty member for these questions and next steps. For more information about your FERPA rights, visit Student Right to Know.
